Marvel at the golden treasures of Tutankhamun, including his iconic death mask, along with over 250,000 artifacts spanning 5,000 years of history.

Next, you’ll visit the legendary Giza Plateau, where the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos stand as the last surviving wonder of the ancient world. You’ll also see the Great Sphinx, the colossal limestone guardian with the body of a lion and the face of Pharaoh Chephren. After a day filled with history and wonder, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Visit St. Mark’s Church, the oldest Christian site in Africa, and stroll through the historic downtown, admiring its Baroque-style architecture and lively markets.

A highlight is El Nabi Daniel Mosque, believed by some to be the resting place of Alexander the Great. Enjoy an optional seafood lunch at a renowned restaurant before visiting Qaitbay Citadel, built on the ruins of the Pharos Lighthouse (one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World).
